Disney Channel wants young sailors
The other day I recived an e-mail from the Disney Channel about yound sailors for a new TV show called MADABOUT.... here is the e-mail they sent me...
Hello, I am working on a childrens' TV programme called MADABOUT for the Disney Channel which focuses on young people's fascination with their sports, hobby, or interest. One of the subjects we are thinking of looking at is sailing.
I know you must have many members who are highly skilled but we are looking for a child that even if they have not had the highest acheivement devote loads of time and energy to their sport.
They would need to be aged between 8-14 and as confident and chatty as possible. The areas we could travel to are Manchester - Liverpool and surrounding area. Hereford and South Wales or the south coast. But can travel elsewhere for a great story!
Do you have anyone you think may be intersted in taking part in this project? Please pass on my details to anyone who is interested and I hope to hear from one of your members soon. Thank you for your help.
