Wet and Windy Record Attempt
A French lady (Raphaela Le Gouvello) windsurfer set off from Tunisia in 25 knots of wind, hoping to do 8 hours flat over 50 miles, on her first leg.
She has a defence against shippers (a white pole) and 5 sails for different wind conditions. She sleeps in her giant windsurfer with only freeze-dried food, and a satalite to home.
She is planning to sail 7,620 miles.
Oh well see her next year hopefully.
