RYA Advanced Sailing Handbook
A must for every dinghy, small keelboat and multihull sailor - TO BE LAUNCHED AT THE LONDON INTERNATIONAL BOAT SHOW 2003.
All year, the RYAs book Start Sailing has been going down a storm at RYA Training Centres around the UK. Now, the latest book in the RYAs new National Sailing Scheme is ready for release.
The Advanced Handbook is clearly presented in full colour with lots of easy-to-follow illustrations and photographs.
It is broken down into the five advanced course modules of the National Sailing Scheme: Day Sailing, Seamanship Skills, Sailing with Spinnakers, Start Racing and Performance Sailing . The book provides background information and top tips for each module, which can be taken as a series of evening, half day or single day sessions, as well as a two-day course.
However, you dont have to take part in an RYA course to read the Advanced Handbook . Written by some of the countrys leading instructors including Rob Andrews and David Ritchie, the RYAs National Sailing Coach, this is the perfect book to learn more about the exhilarating world of small boat sailing.
Keeping to the RYAs winning formula, the Advanced Handbook is a handy pocket size - packed with useful advice and information - at a great price.
The Advanced Sailing Handbook (G12) will be available from the RYA web shop, by email: [email protected] , from the order hotline: 0845 345 0372, or from any good chandlers around the UK.
