Qualification age changed for Junior Bloody Mary 2003
Due to popular demand and our recent realisation that having set the age date for the Junior Bloody Mary in line with the International definition on Junior this did not coincide with either the RYA Zone Squad ages or the RYA National Squad ages (which are themselves different) for the various Junior classes, we have decided to change the qualifying age for both helm and crew to UNDER 16 ON 31/12/2002.
This is a year older than the original qualifying date and will enable members of the National and Zone Squads for Optimists, Toppers, Cadets (with a few exceptions) and Mirrors to compete.
We would be grateful if you would spread the news by telling your friends and other class or squad contacts by word of mouth or email. We apologise to anyone who has been put out in any way by the change.
The first start for the Junior Bloody Mary will be on Saturday 8th February 2003 at 1200, and there will be a briefing for all competitors at 1100. The entry fee of £8 MUST be paid in advance. Click on Entry Form and the Notice of Race for uther information.
