Wind Strategy
These notes describe how clouds and convection affect the wind on the water.

Clouds known as blowers throw out wind. Try to get next to one, but never get under it: the wind increases before the cloud and decreases during it. A sucker cloud draws wind in. The wind decreases before it and increases during it.

A sea breeze is a convection current. As the land heats up, air rises and draws more air into the space, creating a breeze. The original page also described wind bends over land and sea.

A gust is stronger than the constant wind and can be seen on the water as a darker area where the ripples are closer together. Try to stay on the edge of a gust for the lift and shift it provides.
